Welcome to the official site for the CICF (Canadian Indo-Caribbean Festival). The purpose of this organization is to contribute toward the development of programs promoting artist, hosting workshops, showcasing talent and culture from the Indo-Caribbean. This will be in the form of performances from live musical bands, dance groups, choirs, tassa drummers, limbo dances, steel pan and singers from both the east and west areas of the Caribbean. It will also keep the heritage of our culture alive by promoting the youth in our community as well as assisting them to grow and become more confident.

Canadian Indo-Caribbean Festival is an organization that is also dedicated to promoting the Indo-Caribbean heritage and culture with everyone. There’s a very small niche of events that happen throughout the year that is able to capture a mixture of the caribbean and east indian culture. CICF wants to be able to promote and tackle that niche to help educate others about the culture as well as share it with all of Canada.

CICF is a huge supporter of working with the community and especially the youth. Being able to help promote and showcase their talent as well as helping to develop their confidence is a major aspect in terms of what CICF’s main mission and purpose is.
