A: ChutneyFest Champion is a singing competition that highlights Toronto’s Chutney Soca artists. There will be a panel of qualified judges who will be judging based on vocals, musicality, creativity and stage presentation.

A: There is no cost to enter ChutneyFest Champion.

A: You need to be at least 18 years old to enter ChutneyFest Champion.

A: Anyone from Toronto and the surrounding areas can enter ChutneyFest Champion.

A: The finals will be held throughout the course of two days those two days being July 24th and July 25th 2021.

A: The prizes are to be determined and will be updated closer to the date of the competition.

A: You will need to fill out the application form on our website and then upload a live 30 second video singing your song of choice.

A: You can enter with both a cover song or an original song.

A: Head on over to www.chutneyfest.com and click the submission tab un ChutneyFest Champion. Fill out the form and hit enter to send in your submission.

A: Last week of May 2021.

A: The judging will be based on musicianship, stage performance, creativity.
