The mandate of the Canadian Indo-Caribbean Festival (CICF) aligns strongly with
and supports the City of Brampton. Since its first year of operation, the CICF has worked
to create a more strategic fundraising effort, which includes securing more in-kind
support, identifying granting opportunities, and contracting external fundraising
capacity to participate in funding rounds. Since 2013, the Canadian Indo-Caribbean
Festival has been committed to celebrating, honoring, and highlighting the best of what
the Indo-Caribbean community has to offer. Initially referred to as Chutney Fest, the
festival was the first of its kind in Canada to showcase local Indo-Caribbean talent
through music, art, and entertainment, supporting local talents and giving them a
platform to share and express their work and craft. We would like you to partner with us,
to lend your support to a largely unprecedented cultural event like ours, and support a
continuously growing West Indian community. Support in the form of a sponsorship
level or donation , which would allow us to offset some of the expenditures that come
with carrying out a large-scale event like ChutneyFest.
A massive thank you to all of our sponsors - we couldn't be here without you guys.
